Things to consider before you choose a hovercraft model
Hovercraft are very weight sensitive, and lift less weight when starting from an on-water start, so if you intend to select a model for use over water, be sure to ask what the on-water payload is - hovercraft generally lift 50% more weight when starting on land, and some suppliers fudge their on-water lift capability. Might be a good idea to weigh yourself, and passengers if venturing out over water, in case you have to start on water - could be a long swim home. |
